Ive recently bought a 1997 BMW 328i Sport Coupe.

Its low mileage at 90,000 it had full BMWSH and its had the same owner for the past ten years and was up for a good price.

I travelled down to somerset to get it and it was worth every mile! Its totally standard but being the sport model its a great drive already with stiffer suspension. BMW's are totally alien to me so its gonna be fun learning about something different!

Its got some nice optional extras, parking sensors, extra speakers in the doors, and blue piping on the leather seats. Anyway on to the pictures!

As you can see there are some small issues with it,the main ones are:
Interior leather worn
Alloys need refurb
misty headlight
Beemer badges are peeling off
Foglight cracked

Ive got some parts already though

Ive also replaced the thermostat since owning it because it wasnt getting hot. All fine now though. Plans at the minute are to get it to a near standard condition and just drive it to found out what I want to change

Since I got the car the boot hasnt locked on the central locking. So I looked at the wiring running up the bootlid and noticed it was covered in electrical tape ie had been tampered with. So I started to investigate and removed the cover on the bootlid and found........
The plug wasnt plugged into the motor. Connected it up and hey presto, locking boot. I also did this:

much better

Ive also fitted a new sony headunit

One thing I need to know is what battery goes in my key fob? The key fob is the original one but the battery died and the previous owner removed it!

Hell yeah, I love getting involved with my cars. I trained as an HGV mechanic so im pretty handy with the spanners! My car background so far has been with Japanese models so when it comes to these im a bit lost haha!
So far the only thing that Ive decided needs changing is the arch gap! Im planning on having the wheels refurbed with a chrome outer and silver inner. That plus some coilovers will look spot on I think.
Im also planning a GT front splitter and M3 black mesh in the front bumper

No pics of the inside actually, for some reason Ive not took any yet even though its one of my favourite parts!
