Hi. There are no codes displayed just the battery and engine lights as far as I can remember. I will take more of a look next time usually in a hurry to restart to avoid someone hitting me. My next step is to take it for a diagnostics check.

I wasn't referring to the dashboard - the car will store error codes which can be read by a good independent specialist or main dealer. These codes write to history and stay there until cleared and may tell what happened to cause the power outage.

M60NJP. Thanks a bundle will get it checked. I have only ever used a car for getting from a - b a philistine I know. Bought this car an then realised the privilege it is to drive one. Will let you know what turns up. Thanks again.
