Report on the rental MB.......Dont bother!

Slow and noisy. Poor mpg vs the (lack of) performance (18 mpg). A decent showing off road in the desert but rather too bouncy - I tried the off-road settings but that seemed to strangle the throttle?

For £50k or so (?) I'd expect a much better engine and sound-deadening. Last time I had the same car with 7 seats and a turbo and it returned better mpg.

X5m every time!

Most modern 4x4's normally run on 2 wheel drive so you've changed it to 4 wheel drive and probably locked the diff as well =)) Note to driver..........read the handbook :d

Oh well, back home and at work today - BA did manage to arrive 75 mins early which was a small consolation. Not much to report in terms of cars in the latter days, but here's yours truly osing badly next to a classic Phoenix PD car outside the Police museum:

...and before anyone comments - yes, I did have too many pancakes at IHOP (and elsewhere)........

and, just in case anyone does decide to comment...........
