Buddy, we have a back up right opposite the venue, but if you fancy a couple of lodgers for the Sat night only then can bung you a few quid.

Most of the guys are in a caravan park a few miles away buddy but I'll be rocking up to the campanile on the Sat afternoon then heading over to meet the rest of the crew. I'm sure I speak for everyone in saying the more the merrier, just bring a bit of bbq food with you Image

Just so everybody knows - payment for the ferry is due no less than a month in advance. Don't try and pay at the terminal!! It is possible but onlyif you have 30 mins or more to kill...............I know this from experience!!

Due to someone dropping out we have a boat crossing (both ways) and accommodation booked if anyone wants to join us.

I will have to cancel these pretty soon

As we know, this year's venue is much closer to the ferry port than the last few years. Given the ferry berths around 0700 and last time we we off by 0745, even allowing for metroreg finding his car in an otherwise empty ferry, there's no point heading straight for the accommodation as they won't be ready for us.

There's a few attractions we could divert to, but the main cities aren't at all car-friendly, so I'm proposing to drive up the coast to a place called Scheveningen. This is basically the seaside adjacent to The Hague. I used to work in The Hague (a lot) and chose to stay in S because of its location, loads of restaurants etc. For me, there's a bit of nostalgia - but it's a nice place, plenty of parking (charges do apply though!) great to walk around, bars and coffee shops (not that sort though....) and if anyone fancies visiting The Hague it's about 15 mins on a very good tram service.

S is an easy 40 min drive. If anyone fancies that, let me know (or just go there!). Google it if you want more information.

It's even better when the sun shines.....but so's everywhere else!
