Brake calipers

Post by gaz_2015 » 27 Jan 2017, 18:15

My brake calipers have stuck on... so bought some from scrap yard...but the brake pads are diffrent size thst came with the ones from scrap yard.. and them little clips you push on into the little holes on calipers are same length but diffrent widths .... the scrap yard place just told me I need buy smaller brake pads that fit the calipers.. even though the smaller brake pads are like a fingers width smaller than the surface of the disc.. is this right or have they given me calipers for a smaller engine sized car??

Almost certainly a smaller engine model. Look up your on RealOEM and x-reference the part number and see which other E90s it fits - if the smaller engined ones don't show (different part number) there's the answer........
