E90 325d wheel rubbing arch lining

Post by gaz_2015 » 24 Feb 2018, 23:51

My car has been lowered on coil overs for past 2 years.. out of no where when I'm sat at motorway speeds or slightly faster and I am going over uneven road it sounds like my wheel is rubbing on somthing plastic. And a quick look I think it's rubbing on the front bit of the arch lining bang in the middle. I do also have a terrible knocking while going over smallest of dimples in the road. I thought this was my drop links at first. Could this be bushes ??
Any help is appreciated

Quite possibly the drop link, did you fit the shorter ones when changing to coilovers?

Ye I put shorter ones on.. I have got myself pro sport adjustable ones to go on now. Any ideas what could cause rubbing at motorway speeds?
