Removal of boot liner panels

Post by LT118d » 27 Jul 2016, 17:55

Hi all,

I'm just trying to remove the drivers side boot liner trim panel to get to the fuel cap solenoid but not sure how to. (118d hatchback)

Does anybody know how to or has had any experience in doing it themselves?

Thanks in advance

They're held on with trim clips - most will break when you remove it, but they're only pennies even at BMW dealers!

That's great thank you, does it just pull away from the plastic trim by the boot catch and the plastic trim where the speaker is held?

Almost! Be careful, there's at least one screw. Mines a coupe so attached might help:

Thought there would be one somewhere I would have missed otherwise. That should be very similar to mine so hopefully that would work.

Thanks
