Morning gents, anyone seen this kind of grille before, I can’t find another set anywhere, even on Mini’s being broken.

I’ve tried cleaning them, but not found anything yet that’ll make them shine again.

Cheers

I haven't, but aren't they plastic chrome? If so, there's not much that will 'recover' them - but easy to recolour in black or chrome paint?

Yep, plastic chrome
Could redo them, but as they’ve the grille mesh work behind, I fancied trying to get a replacement pair really

Thanks, seen loads of those, but none actually the same as those fitted on mine.

Anyone else even seen these before?

You could get them rechromed. A friend of mine in WV does this sort of thing and whilst it's mostly metal he'll work with, he says if you catch plastic before the nickel has worn away he would (and therefore others would) rechrome. You might get some joy from a local chrome plater in return for a few quid and a case of beer :thumbup:

Failing that I'll show my buddy the pics and ask him if it's something he'd do as a favour to me ;)

Actually, these look the same. Listing ended but at least it points you to the original seller http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-BMW-Mini- ... 7675.l2557" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
