Vibration in steering when breaking

Post by ALBOZ » 10 Apr 2018, 15:40

Hi everyone!
I’ve got a BMW X5 3.0d aut. 2005
When I’m driving about 70-80 mph and start breaking i get vibration in steering wheel, I bought 4 new tyres and all balance it and still vibration in steering.
I’m thinking the tracking needs to be done or one of the bushes is loose!
Anyone else has a suggestion feel free to tell.
Thanx

This is usually a sign of warped brake disc(s)................

I have just had the same issue. I bought discs from Euro carparts, 8k later they were warped causing massive judder under braking. Changed to BMW discs over easter so hopfully this will last longer.
